And this year (first time ever) it will be held in Fredreicksburg, TX. (Did you hear that Lancair is moving their operation to Central Texas? Fredricksburg is less than 100 miles from Lockhart. It will take me longer to drive from my home in Austin to Lockhart than it will take to fly from Lockhart to Fredricksburg. But that is aviation. It will be interesting to see their expressions. My ES has already generated a lot of interesting comments on the Lancair group. Mark On 7/10/07, DLOMHEIM@aol.com wrote: > > > Could happen Kelly. Doug,
The fly-in that I'm really looking forward to attending is the annual Lancair gathering.

Now Mark...if you drop in to visit Kelly you'll have to drop into my airport as well!  2OK2 is only 130/8 DME off the Tinker AFB VORTAC; 2700 ft., lighted, and ready to have a hot rod 20B Lancair come by for a visit!  It appears that Texas is fast becoming the leading state in Rotary completions with Bill Eslick, his neighbor (Jason H.??), Dennis Haverlah and you about read to finally aviate!

Fly safe!
