Al,

I can't remember the rate but it would be something like 100:1 to the fuel, even less if memory serves me correctly, maybe 150:1.

However the mechanical OMP has two settings one low at low rpm and them full on at about 2,000 rpm.

I doubt if the OMP speed to the crank speed would be of much use- Richard Sohn knows the in's and out's of this ( excuse the pun).

Using Richards data, I come up with about 130:1 for my engine at about 5000 rpm.  It seems to make sense.  Thanks, Richard.

Subject: [FlyRotary] OMP flow rate

Does anyone know what the flow rate is from the OMP?

Unfortunately, I don’t know what year the pump is from.  It is on my 20B which has a 12A front cover.  It is a 4-port, likely from a 13B, in which one port has been blocked and the other three go one to each rotor housing.

The only data I have on hand is what Richard measured some years ago, running the pump at 6000 rpm.  This could useful if I knew the ratio of pump speed to eccentric shaft speed.

Thanks,

Al
