Steve, Dave, or anyone else using the stock turbo(s)

On my 20B installation I am considering using the stock turbo system.  I would only be using low boost levels.

From my experience, your 20B will blow the stock turbo in very short order.

I have a couple of questions for anyone who is using the stock turbos.  Were your systems twins turbos?

There is no way you can use twin turbos. They are very heavy and are designed for stop and go traffic. They are also called "twin sequential turbo".

Did you leave both turbos in place?  Is over speeding an issue for our mode of operation?

Over speeding is the biggest problem for the stock turbos. Dave Leonard  and John Slade have solved the problem by going to larger turbos.

What else should I know about using the stock turbos?

Don't waste your time and money as we did. Buy one that others have proved that's working.
Buly

Thanks,
Joe
