Thanks for the advise, Bill.

That would be my natural inclination  - just to keep on following the pattern that has worked fine over the past 10 years.  I guess if it really bothered me, I could haul Mogas to fly with as Tracy and others do, but having had a fire once while refueling that way, I decided to stick with "approved" fuel dispensing installations {:>), which means when on the fly - its almost always 100LL.

True enough, Bill.  Yet, I can not help but wonder about the incredibly short rise time of the pulse and whether it might have a beneficial effect in a fouling environment.  Not enough that I am willing to spend $100 + to find out, you understand {:>)

Ed what they have done here is to package a small capcitive discharge circuit in the plug. This naturally has a fast rise time. In 1969 Kawasaki ran a battery powered CDI running a DC-DC converter to charge a cap with 400 volts. Super fast rise time, ultra high voltage, VERY SHORT Duration. When run with standard plugs you needed to run .080 gap just to get it to fire the mixture. Buy cheap regular plugs, and change them  often. You will be way ahead.
