According to my Copper State Bolt & Nut handbook, M12
bolts come
in two threads: coarse - 1.75 and fine - 1.5. I'd send you
to their web
site, but it appears they are redesigning it.

redesigning the page to include the 1.25 pitch

sells M12 in 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75 pitches. The real problem seems to be
deciding what the correct size is.
Wendell, Just to be sure, are you talking about a motor
mount hole in the 2nd gen intermediate housing, or the 3rd gen rear
housing?
