These are Auto thread sizes and usually a bolt specialist is the only place that handles all the threads and lengths available. I have yet to ask for something they don't have or can get.
Their usually cheaper as well!

I need to know the size of the larger bolt that goes thru the oil pan and was part of the original engine mount in a car. I think it may be 12mm x1.25 but can' find any that size. The original one I have are too long and if you would cut them off all the threads would be lost.

Try Sears Home and Garden centers,  Lowes, and NAPA for metric bolts that are all threads.

Already tried those sources, no luck; even went to a specialy hardware store, same results.
