Subject: [FlyRotary] That cheap = ventilation fan

Decided to replace the ventilation fan in the shop, had an old = a/c=20 condenser fan (220volt) to replace the a/c cond. fan I was using since = the=20 plug was running warm and the motor was somewhat over-loaded.

To control the fan I found an old a/c contactor and could wire to = irrigation control 24vac.  So the free fan, free contactor and = free=20 24vac, I needed to run thermostat wire (free) to some switches laying = around=20 (free). So I needed to run the control wire over head to other side of = shop,=20 couldn't reach a board that it needed to go over (already moved the = ladder) so=20 I'll just climb on the strake and easily reach the board.

So I commenced to climb on the strake from the back (engine is = now in=20 place on the 'New Engine Mount'), you guessed it, up went the nose of = the Cozy=20 and down went I and the engine.  Wasn't too bad until I hooked up = the=20 winch and lifted the plane back to normal position, the Mazda oil = cooler was=20 smashed by the prop flange.  So... the cheap fan has now cost = more than a=20 new one, even with remote control.

Anyone have a lead on an oil cooler?
