But, should any of you kind gentlepersons have instant insight, or better yet, a crystal ball with a solution, feel free to chime in. First, I seem to be having a problem with the ECU's PCM. When I press the store button in mode 0, it will fire the injectors as if they are in mode 1's test mode instead of just prime. I can get 'em to quite by changing the mode select, but it is troublesome. SECOND, and my current focus, is I have lost spark. I get no spark when cranking or placing the ECU in mode 8 and test firing the plugs. This is the same with both computer A and B. We have tested the power in GM harness lead H and we have power. We also have solid grounds on lead E & A. Also the grounds to the ECU are good as are the continuity checks of the wire/connections from the ECU to the coils. What else to do? I don't know how to check the coils themselves or if the ECU is actually talking to the coils (it is talking to the injectors. The engine was running about four days ago. I modified some cooling plumbing and changed an alternator in the last four days afar pulling all of the C/B's. Nothing else changed. I am again frustrated but should plow though. Thoughts? Thanks.
