Hi Dennis,
Test works, thanks for the update.
Did you by any chance decide to try dividing the airflow along a vertical plane to control air flow to your oil cooler - or saving that for later if necessary?
Good luck on your test flight, hope that takes care of the temps
Ed

Subject: [FlyRotary] RV-7A cooling
I've not recieved any mail for 24 hrs so this is a test and up-date.
I've modified my inlet to smooth the flow to the radiators and feed the engine induction seperatly from the cooliing inlet.
Bobby Hughes had an aluminum oil pan available so I installed it. The pan is a wedge and all the oil is below the 1/2 inch mounting plate. I've got the oil 3/4 inch below the mounting plate with 6 quarts in the pan.
I now am using 125-50W Moble 1 and 10 % antifreeze in the cooling water with 1 tablespoon of liquid soap.
Hope to fly this evening or tomorrow.
Dennis H.
