With a sofisticated enough EMS we could even run without=20 a throttle valve, but that is really for the future. I think Tracy's=20 system might even be able to fire the injector. I have an inquiry into=20 Siemens about the system. Used on the new gasoline Audis, and diesels=20 for several years. If thats the case you=20 could port as you please without hurting your mpg. My point is that it is NOT=20 the sole determination of economy. This isn't the biggest factor for=20 efficiency. I believe managing charge contamination is important, sure=20 but not the only factor. I think the new direct injection systems will=20 work very well with the rotary. The point is that getting the engine to=20 pump the most air at a given RPM is "THE WAY."=A0 Bill Jepson=A0 =A0 -----Original Message-----=A0 From: bmears9413@aol.com=A0 To: Rotary motors in aircraft flyrotary@lancaironline.net>=A0 Sent: Tue, 19 Jun 2007 5:54 am=A0 Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Fw: Different Rotary Port configurations=A0 =A0 =A0 And let me assure you, a P port will NOT get the same GPH.
