Dennis,
I doubt that the Renesis oil level is lower than the RX7, in is in fact 
higher.
The RX7 oil level is right at the top of the oil pan or at the bottom of the 
motor.
The RX8 is higher than the top of the oil pan, as the oil pan is shallower - 
how much higher is unknown to me.
