Yes, the "mythical" first-start condition requires more
than just time, money and effort - you also must pay homage to the deities of
"Do it Right the Xth time", "Do it Over - just for the heck of it", "Oh, I
though the oil flowed the other way" and a few other similar deities.
Old brains may be slower, but they are frequently more
thorough - simply because they are not distracted as much by SEX (whatever that
was), crying infants (unless you children came back to live with you), Working
for a living (if that fortunate), etc.
So hang in there, John, you'll get there when all
First-Start "dues" have been paid {:>)

Two drivers schools with two races each and then 6 practice
race weekends, then you get a license. That's what they
should do with everyone on the California Highways :))
Thomas, I believe this was the program that Paris Hilton
was in, like 79 mph in a 35 zone.
The first start is
one very elusive condition, every day there are more details that need to be
figured out and my ole brain isn't as active as it once was. If I can
get the heat valve for the carb heat fabricated and hooked up, all things may
be coming together.
