You got me on 'a' and no doubt on 'c' too, but I did have one known flaw
for him to catch.   Not surprisingly, he didn't notice it.  But on the
lengthy list of details he did flunk was for 'proper separation of
fixtures'.  A water closet (toilet) flange center was 14 3/4" from the
nearest side wall.   The book value is 15". "Sorry" (he said with a
smile), "That wall has to move".

Hope I don't get a similar FAA designee to inspect my RV-8   :- {

Tracy,

It may be in your best interest to check the Colorado plumbing code very
close. It is likely 15 inches from finished wall, not rough wall. So if
you add in 1/2" for sheet rock, you may need to remove 3/4" rather than
1/4". If in fact you were measuring from the studded wall, and not from a
covered wall. That is the kind of thing they like to tag you on once, then
you fix the problem, and they come back for a final, and nail you again on
the same thing. All the while power tripping on the fact that they could
have clued you into this the first time. Just my experience as a
professional plumber here in IL. (BTW, I know nothing of Colorado's code
laws, but if I recall correctly, they follow the Uniform Plumbing Code)
Here in IL, we have a great big city in the north east corner that is full
of bureaucrats that need jobs so they have to make up our own plumbing
code for the state.
