When in doubt, look at the landing gear handle. Switch protectors are always hinged at the top. So when the cover is at rest, (closed) the switch is off. To energize that circuit, the protector is lifted up, and the switch is pushed up. When the cover is up, and the switch is energized there could be a life changing outcome for somebody. As in master arming switch. End of speculation. Now shut off the computer and get back to building, and taking pictures. The only exception in a normal persons life is a single light or device controlled by a pair of two way switches. So one of the two will always be point in the wrong direction in my fevered mind.
