As it seems you are used to flying cool aircraft, did you ever get your hands on any Mitsubishi MU-2 (any different variants....)?

The 601P was a turbo piston pressurized the same as the 414.
It was so light on the controls that it felt like a pitts or something.. a
dream to fly.. just don't get slow while landing.. or your landing
will become an arrival.. The slowest I shot my approaches was 120knts
[while by myself] and you didn't even think about rotating until 102knt
on take-off.. other than that.. it was a scream.. literally..
