I was totally blown away by his integrated avionics and his = electrical system configuration. The quality of work was simply = outstanding - you have to see it to really appreciate how good it is. His own Glass Cockpit configuration was just as impressive with a = communications network between various electronic components that made = use of ready available USB connectivity. Data collection - in spades! = Sure makes my "steam Gauge" cockpit seems like it belongs back in = another century. =20 Spent time looking over his 20B installation - looks well though out and = laid out. Almost ready to fire up with a little work on the intake and = exhaust systems. ( I hate these guys where I see an air conditioning = compression sitting on the engine- what happened to the real men ready = to melt in the 100F+ temperatures of their cockpits {:>)). =20 It sure makes me smile to see how far you folks have come in your really = neat installations - getting to where I almost don't want to take my = cowl off for folks to see (almost {:>)) What is doubly nice, Joe lives a few miles from a 6000 foot runway (the = very same one I made my one rotor landing after blowing apex seals on = the way to Sun & Fun 2005) which will make his test flights a bit nicer.
