Bill,
You made the right choice with the -10.

I really like the KIS, but after it was sold to Pulsar, builder support became non-existent, and we were pretty much left on our own.

That said, Solly has since been removed from the company, the factory has moved to Guatemala to make the fiberglass parts, and Rich Trickel has been hired to run the operation down there.  I haven't heard of any new Cruisers (4 place) being sold -- too bad, because for several years it was the only 4 place option available -- till Van's came out with the -10.

I think Van sold more RV-10 kits the first year at Oshkosh than all the KIS 4 place ever.

KIS Cruiser #4045
Way to go Bill! That is a MAJOR step.

I'll reply to myself here with a question for Bill S.  Bill do you know the status of the Kis kit manufacture? I was really interested in the KIS until Trickel sold it to Solly and he nearly doubled the price. I really like the cruiser, it was my plane of choice until the transfer priced it out of my range. I'm doing the RV-10 because the "chunks" are affordable.
