I've seen a couple of pictures in the archives but it's been a while. The only critical thing is to get the starter the correct distance from center so that the gears engage properly. My old MM plate replaced the rear plate on the RD1x. It moved the starter to the side, but they were expensive and aren't available any more. Bob W.
