As you well know, I had months of similar frustration before discovering a bad connection in the main connector where the pins were not fully engaging. At one stage the EC2 was getting blown when connected. You might have blown Bobs too, thus would now be getting the same results. Are you SURE that Bobs EC2 is (still) functional? A definite test would be to try both in his setup, or take/send both to Tracy. Good luck. John
