Thanks Dennis, makes the embarrassment a bit easier.
Actually, I don't want to give folks the wrong impression, I'm long enough in the tooth and have made so many mistakes in my life time that these kind don't even enter into the "almost contender" category for embarrassment {:>). The only one I can recall (of recent vintage) that was really embarrassing - was when I made a 12 mile glide (fortunately landing safely) - when all I had to do was listen to my old instructors and SWITCH TANKS! . Its a long story and I won't repeat it again - but that one WAS embarrassing.

Your sharing of information has been extremely helpful for me! I've avoided several problems because of your past experiences.
As soon as I get more flight experience I'll probably have some of my own problems to share. This forum has saved me lots of cash
and without the information shared on the site I may not have proceeded with a rotary.
