Hi George,

The BD-4 is kind of like that too.  There are a few custom items that
are hard to get, the main one being the wing spars.  Jim Bede and Team
Aviation are two current sources and there are a lot of old BD-4 kits
around that were never finished.  I looked at a kit that had very
little work done on it.  The whole kit was $5600 with a lot of
expensive options.  If you want high performance at a bargain price,
you can't beat the BD-4.  One of my main goals was to have a fast cross country plane.  Most of
the big airshows where you can show off a rotary engine are quite a
ways from here. :)

The beauty of this plane (Vision) is that you can make parts as you can afford them.
I guess you already have instruments, engine etc.
Worth some consideration.
I'm working on a single rotary for the Light Sport Category (Vision).
Power requirements are between 115 and 125hp.
