The blinking NOP tells you that the EC2 is not powered up; so check the EC2
power wiring. I suppose it is possible that you have been running the EC2
powered via the injector power.

That may be it? But how come the Mode 8 (Coil and spark plug test) is working without power?
I'll go over the wiring schematic again.
