If we're both including the same stuff,
you've come in about 50 lbs below the weight of mine with the stock housings,
and the Autoflight drive. That's pretty amazing!
Have you moved it to a test stand that will
allow a real prop yet? I'm dying to see if you have the same torque
reversal resonance problems. I hope not, but I don't know how you won't,
unless the coupler in the Hirth drive is that much different. I've just
ordered a softer coupler for the Autoflight drive, and will see if that
helps.

Hi Rusty,
I just started working on that test stand. It will
probably be ready some time in summer, I do not need it right now for the
tests I am doing.
If there is an issue with the coupling, the coupler
may be replaced with a clutch within the confinement of the present
gearbox.
