Just looking at a dyno sheet from one of my bridge ported 12As shows 218.2 HP at 7,500
RPM, 152.6 foot pounds, 1517 and 1494 EGT, .673 BSFC, 164 degrees oil, 100.1 PSI oil pressure, and A/F of 12.1.

This engine is not used at that low an RPM so it is not tuned to be ideal there. It is used between 7,800 RPM (229.4 HP) and 9,600 (242.2 HP) with peak power at 9,400 RPM ( 244.8 HP).

Lynn, do you have any dyno data that would correspond to the BSFC an airplane would use in cruise, ie extremely leaned?  I'm guessing the answer is, "No, what would a racer do with that?", but it can't hurt to ask.

With a Pport and some work on tuned lengths, perhaps 120 HP at 7,500 RPM. is available.

Sun&Fun is still ongoing. You all should be there. A Renesis engine with a Marcotte reduction is under power each day. Art Rudko Lutz Florida. 1-813-792-2787.

Land at Zephyr hills and rent a car. Also buy your tickets at the counter inside. Free Zephyrhills water in the cooler. Very good.
