Good Job Richard. Are you going to S&F?

Tested my single rotor today. The first time with some real, reproduceable data.
The configuration is with one compound side housing. The other side housing is still sandwiched, using milled down MAZDA housing section.
This version weight for the nacked engine, flywheel and water pump included, is 90lb. This engine is based on 12A rotor and rotor housing. Intake is P-P.

Data:

RPM    4000
Fuel flow  2.5GPH
MAP        21"
EGT       1400F
O2         .650  =  15 (ratio)

At shut down:
oil temp        200F
Water temp  200F
oil pressure was 50psi cold and hot, looks suspect.
The water pressure gauge did not work, which was the reason for shutting down after 7min runtime. I had planed to go to max water temperature, did not want to do that without water pressure.

The most interesting fact of this test is the possibility of a power estimate. Calculated power using a BSFC of .5 is 30 hp. Looking at the power curve of the LeMans engine, this is about 10% below of what is shown there. From this, I believe the projected over 100hp at 7500RPM is within reach.
