They're 500cc which about the same as a 12a rotor. And that intake port looks like a great idea. I'd bet it would be lighter than a single rotor mazda. Plus already have an alternator built in, a small starter. Looks = like they have two small fixed ports that are high (later timing) on the = housing. The big port has a butterfly that opens when needed for high speed, and = when overlap can be tolerated.
