Rusty,
Given that it true - are you concerned that the chain will churn-up oil into foam?
George ( down under)
Greetings,

I'm working on the engine mount plate for the single rotor, and am still thinking about running the oil level a bit above the bottom of the engine.  I've read that the Renesis does this in the RX-8, and I'm wondering if the oil pump chain is still very close to the bottom of the engine, similar to the 13B.   In other words, is the stock Renesis oil pump chain running in the oil normally?

I found a picture of the front cover of a Renesis, and it has the old familiar recess for the oil pump sprocket, so I presume it's essentially the same.

Thanks,
Rusty
