Calibrating = the fuel flow is sometimes no small task. I could have made it easy by = using an external fuel flow sensor (the Lycoming version of the EM2 uses = one) but that adds over $250 to the cost.=20 Have not written up the details yet but have discovered a big reason = why the Mazda injectors appear to flow much more that the numbers on = them would explain when used with the EC2 engine controllers. I'm testing a simple mod right now which makes the injectors flow = much closer to what they should. It also makes it easier to get a = smoother engine idle at a lower rpm.
