   My Delta project has two 21 gal alum. "Saddle" tanks behind the main spar

in the center section inboard of the main gear wells........I am not on my home

computer at this time so cannot post a photo........FWIW

That sounds good also. The home built tank with 47 gallons up high was a nonstarter for me. You could still put a fuel cell up there for more range.
