It uses a Lycoming bearing. "http://rotaryeng.net/Lyc-main-bearing-CS-plain-thrust.jpg". You could take power off of the prop shaft for the governor. Mount it on the side of the PSRU. Then the RPM would be right and it would reduce or eliminate the modifications to the motor. Blake
