Al,
Actually that is an older picture.  I was concerned about the solid tube cracking under vibration, etc.  I replaced the tube with #4AN SS telfon tubing.

I also use the aluminum tube. Made a wide S to allow for expansion
and have it clamped mid way with adel clamp to the bellhousing.
