The compound side housing, power-take-off end, is getting ready to be installed and tested. Machining was almost a nightmare, considered the available means. But, I think it is good enough for the intended use.
Testing will be for function first, and running heat cycle second. This is to make sure there is no flaw needing a redesign of the basic idea.
Once the first tests are successfully completed, work on the waterpump-side housing will start.
The compound housing as shown in the picture is 15lb. vc 32lb of the stock housing.
