I have one of those permanent magnet deals on my Vari Eze, sold by B&C for
$$$ I keep hearing that they are of a Kubota tractor. Mine is only rated at
14 A or there abouts so my night IFR is kinda like Apolo 13's return to
earth - don't need strobes - don't need the VOR for a little while, etc.

was told it
was rated at 20 amps. It was from a big garden tractor of some
kind. Smaller
than your fist. Running off of a 1/4" wide V belt.
