I did my intake manifold template by using a clear piece of plexyglass.

George; If you need to mark from the inside, take a piece of typing paper and punch the bolt holes, then run your somewhat greasy finger or a soft lead pencil around where the opening is and you will have the hole outline which can be snipped out with a pair of scissors. From the farm. JohnD
