It's an Aymar-Demuth cut for a 160 hp RV-x. I just purchased it (used) as a spare for my -4 & haven't flown it yet. The hub is 4 1/2" thick & it has 7/16" bolt holes. I did not get any prop bolts with it, so you're on your on with mounting it. :-)

If you want to use it I'll try to find an economical way to ship it, or maybe Bill can fit it in the back of his -6 when he comes to visit his daughter here in MS.

you have?

Thanks,

I have a little over an hour of flight time on my airplane now and thought I would give the group a report. After first flight I decided to change the exhaust system. I copied Bill Eslick and Tracy's system. I am running Bill's SpinTech muffler. It is much quieter in the cockpit now and ground reports indicate that my exhaust is slightly deeper that Bill's but very close.

I have a long taxi to get to the runway. Temps at takeoff have been 150-180 for oil and 190-210 temp for water. Reaching pattern altitude I am at 210 -215 oil and around 225 for water temp.  After leveling off oil stabilized to 205 and 210 water.  Lots of room for improvement, but it has been 90 plus degrees for every flight. On the last flight I noticed the upper cowl is bulging between fasteners. I am waiting for Bill's upper louver experiment to decide weather to try to exit the air high or low.

I am getting about 5000 RPM static and at 140 MPH the engine turns up to 6200 RPM. I would like to do a couple ground runs with a smaller pitch prop to determine if I am over-propped or just not producing power. If any one has a smaller pitch prop for sale or loan please let me know. I am currently running a Performance Props Inc. 74x88. Takeoff rolls take about 1000 ft. and climb out is very flat.   Yes

Which redrive? I've got a couple of spare props but they turn the same direction as a Lyc (should work with the 2.85).
