I did it just to see if I could. I wouldn't think of flying with this repaired housing. I'm not even sure if I would put an engine with this repaired housing in a car, unless I was stranded in the desert. Too much work pulling the engine and changing out a bad housing to risk it. =20 Mark S.=20 =20 ________________________________ From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On Behalf Of Thomas Phy Sent: Thursday, June 15, 2006 12:01 PM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [FlyRotary] Front housing repair =20 I have a front housing that the outer "O ring" seal's wall has broken off! Mike,

I guess I’m the one = you’re thinking of on the side housing repair.  I did it just to see if I = could.  I wouldn’t think of flying with this repaired housing.  I’m not even = sure if I would put an engine with this repaired housing in a car, unless I was stranded = in the desert.  Too much work pulling the engine and changing out a bad = housing to risk it.
