Original VEZ / LEZ had an intake for the cabin air infront of the canopy. On takeoff at high angle of attack when you most need it, there was no air coming in. Basically the area had (more or less) stagnant air flow. Later when in level flight it was working good. Make sure it will work before cutting your cowl. Buly
