Yvon,

I have a 3 blade 72" Warp Drive HP prop on a Lycoming O-320 150 on my Zenith
CH300.

It is set at 14 degrees. and perform quite well. You need a blade per 50 to
60 HP.

Start at 14 and adjust by 1 deg max at a time. You may want to then go =/-
0.5 to find the sweet spot.

more pitch = more cruise performance
less pitch = more climb performance

They work quite well.

   The pitch of my old wood propeller which I am retiring is given in
inches, while my new Warp Drive uses degrees to set pitch.  No reference
to inches.
What is the relationship between the two methods of measurement?
Can you direct me to reference material (for the layman)?
