I need some advice on installing my oil cooler on the Renesis.  

I installed my oil cooler on the plugs side.  The attached picture shows the
front bracket (about the 7 O'clock position in the picture).  You're right,
you don't want it attached to the engine. I drilled two #10 holes in the
engine mount brace that joins the fore-aft members at the very back (I've
got a pusher). Since that brace sees little or no load I figured a couple of
3/16" holes wouldn't hurt.  The brace on the firewall end uses 1/8" aluminum angle and Adel clamps.
