It was just the knuckle of one finger, about 1/8th of a square inch and
it got my attention pretty fast. (That's how I know it's a bad idea.)
And one for you. If you're in a tight spot, and decide your mouth will be a good third hand for helping to feed filler rod, either get leather gloves for your lips or make sure you stay on the cold end.
