I'll give it a try. I assume the tube should not stick thru as far as the peak of the venturi. BTW, hot tip for the day, pun intended - don't stick your fingers in an acetylene torch flame. Third degree burns are almost instantaneous. It was just the knuckle of one finger, about 1/8th of a square inch and it got my attention pretty fast. (That's how I know it's a bad idea.) Bob W.
