"The Builder's Choice Award" It wouldn't be hard, just take some legwork the first year. Print some ballots with the categories, or provide an internet page where it could be downloaded and printed. Or someone who is there for the week passes out ballots as homebuilts arrive. Fill in N number at the top to insure 1 per homebuilt. Homebuilders always walk around to see how other's have done it anyway (at least I do). As they're walking around, they can fill in a blank with the N number of their choice for each category, then mail them in. Someone counts them and sends out badges/stickers/whatever as awards. The powers that be will ignore it until the prestige starts showing...builders show up displaying their Builder's Choice Award more proudly than a Lindy. They'll take it over and do all the legwork from that point on. -- ,|"|"|, Ernest Christley | ----===<{{(oQo)}}>===---- Dyke Delta Builder | o| d |o www.ernest.isa-geek.org |
