        Let me know = if you=20 think you would be interested in such a high-tech

Hi=20 Bill,

The = numbers are real=20 impressive, right up until you get to the price :-)  =20

As for = the uses, I would=20 think it would be better for the Lycoming crowd than the alternate = engine folks,=20 mostly due to the small capacity of the battery.   I would = never=20 consider something that small for main battery on a rotary engine, = unless=20 you had two of them (very expensive), or another alternator (heavy and=20 complicated).   It would, however make a dandy backup=20 battery.

On the = other hand, my=20 RV-8 NEEDS a light battery like that, and capacity isn't an issue, = since I=20 don't need electricity to run the engine.  It it was available = right now=20 (tested, proven, etc), I'd consider it.   More likely, it = will be=20 something I'll have to consider if the Odyssey makes the plane = a bit=20 more nose heavy than I want it.

BTW, I = was=20 also amused by the RV list comments.  What do you know about = getting=20 lots of current out of a battery :-)

Cheers,
Rusty = (fitting canopy,=20 hanging engine this week)
