I believe it was Lynn Hanover that said he runs "Redline" straight
40 wt in their racecar........He indicated that the multiweight additive
adds to tendency to foam.......Perhaps something to consider when
choosing engine / redrive lube......

I use Mobil One synthetic 20-50W. I found that they now offer a motorcycle version,
which has anti-foam additives. I could not see any difference from their normal
engine oil as to foaming. I have since replaced my clear vinyl tubing with
high temp oil hose, so cannot view the oil. Note: I never flew with the clear stuff,
just ground running without the prop.
