A bit late in responding, but thanks for the suggestion.  I will certainly try it out.

I got spark plug SAG after take off from Louisiana on way home from Bill Eslicks' great Texas Rotary flyin.  I put new plugs in before the trip so, they only had about 20 hours on them.  Since I have plenty of spark plugs to test them on, going to try most of the suggestions.

However, Jason who make his first engine run there at the flyin, showed me some surface gap spark plugs which looks like they would expose more of the ceramic to the scouring of the combustion gases and might delay the onset of SAG.

I plan on getting some of those Denso plugs and trying them.

I looked back at our discussion a few weeks ago about removing the lead from
spark plugs and I couldn't find a mention of Vinegar and Peroxide.  I talked
to a friend of mine today who is quite knowledgeable about guns. When I
asked if he knew of anything that would remove lead he immediately said "oh
sure, 50% vinegar and 50% regular store brand Hydrogen Peroxide" (i.e. 3%
solution). He said he's used it numerous times and it works great.

Hope that helps.
