I no longer use Mazda "O" rings for just the reason you mentioned - outrageously expensive. I think Tracy Crook should look to finding some suitable replacements and sell them in his kits {:>). I use a regular round cross section "O" ring for the top of the injector and a "grommet" type ring (thicker, squarer cross section) for the bottom "O" ring. It of course, needs to fit in the hole as well as around the injectors. The critical one is at the top of the injector with the higher pressure fuel. If the lower one is a little off you might get a small air leak of no consequence, but you don't want higher pressure gasoline spraying around outside the injector. {:>) I lost the container that had the size label on it for the top "O" ring - so can't help your with a part number. Perhaps someone has the actual size dimension.
