Lynn,
I was thinking about your coolant mix of teaspoon
of dishwashing soap and 10 of antifreeze - what do you do about
ani-corrosion. Has anyone considered soluble oil?

I have never noticed any corrosion in the hard run engines. I have used the
same aluminum radiator for 12 years now. The engines look new on teardown. Make
the coolant distilled water from the start. Make sure the alternator has its own
ground strap (wire).
If cooling is just no problem, then you could up the percentage of
antifreeze.
I have not heard the oil idea before.
