The glass packing lasted about an hour then the whole thing ended up like a maraca. I took it apart and emptied out the glass then put it back. The stainless seems to be holding up and is probably a little better than no muffler at all - but not much. Before I fly next I will have a quality muffler hung under the fuselage - i= n hopes of enticing the wife to come along.
