While checking the OEM specs on the Aeroquip push-on type hose I noticed something interesting. The max operating temp for water is 180 F.  250F for other fluids. So I guess no one is using this for the radiators..right?

    Yes I have been using it for the last 1300 hrs for heater core hose as I never heard of that before, I figured that it would be better as its rated for higher pressure than conventional heather hose,
  I am running a 60 percent propylene glycol mix so I wander if that is considered as another fluid,
  Oh well if it works I am not going to fix it now.
