Hey, = I'm trying to=20 resist :-)

I verified again that = the engine=20 doesn't have any of these vibration issues without a prop.  The = only=20 problem is being rough at low rpm, which is expected with no flywheel, = and a=20 single rotor.  By a couple thousand rpm, it's plenty smooth. =20

I = also got=20 a chance to try the IVO prop today, and it made a difference,=20 but isn't close to being OK.  The flexible IVO tends = to make it=20 harder to pinpoint exact rpm's of the problems, but they are still = there. =20 In general, the rpm for all the previous problems is 300-500 = lower with the=20 IVO, than the Warp Drive.  The oscillation in the prop tips is = still=20 there, but not as severe as with the Warp=20 Drive.

At = this point, I=20 just haven't decided what to do next.  If I'm smart, I'll just pull = the=20 prop, so the engine runs well, and I'll run it every now and then when I = go to=20 the airport.  That will keep it healthy, and let me work on the = RV-8=20 instead.
